Do you have to have Xbox Live Gold to update rosters, Madden Share, input codes for Pre-order bonuses, so on? When I try, I get this: an xbox live membership limitation does not allow you to use this feature

I had the same error. I had to change some Privacy settings. I changed Voice and Text to 'everyone'. And Video Communication to 'everyone'.

it's not the privacy settings...you need live gold. privacy settings...that was funny.

Unfortunately, it is true you must be a XBL Gold Member to access these features. I just went from silver to gold and now it works. This is how Microsoft makes me feel sometimes

Privacy settings have nothing to do with EA it's strictly for MS and live...believe what you will.

Set your 'Voice and Text' setting to Friends Only or Blocked. Set your 'Video Communication' to Friends Only or Blocked. Set 'Member Content' to Friends Only or Blocked. Then, try to access the Madden Share....

I was trying to give people a heads up who may encounter the same problem I had.

Anyone solve this? I've opened ports on my router for the 360, opened up all my LIVE privacy settings, tried to reset my Origin account--everything I can think of. I really suspected it was something to do with the Origin setup. Any other ideas?

I just solved my problem by changing the privacy setting, which was somehow set to "custom" instead of adult.
