Non Playoff Eligible Players

Hey guys,

So in my 2013 franchise I have a opportunity to maybe make the playoffs via the second wild card,I have been using some september call ups to get me there, but almost all of them are not playoff eligible players.

How can I make them playoff eligible, to maybe replace players that are on my DL that are playoff eligible, but will not be ready to play in the playoff if I make it.

For example: Morneau is on 60DL and i would like Miguel Sano to replace him in my roster if i make it...same for a pitcher for pitcher

You have to add those players to your 25 man roster before September callups. Basically you need to decide on your 25 man playoff 'roster before September 1st

Thanks man, but what I want to know is after August 31st, how can I add or remove a player to be eligible for my playoff roster....

I believe injured players can be replaced by anybody on your 40 man roster. That's the only way.

Any player added to the MLB roster on September 1 or after is not eligible for the playoff roster. It doesn't matter if they were a call up from the minors or acquired via trade, free agency or waiver claim. They have to be on the MLB roster before August ends.
