For example, a Cowboys fan could basically pick from the 79, 83, 93, or maybe the 2007 version. A Steelers fan would pick between the 78, 95, or 2005 version with a roster of 60-70. If the roster can't hold 3 teams, then pick any 2 teams for maybe the Cardinals (like the 84 and 08 teams) with a mix of players from other eras like Larry Centers and Jim Hart. This way if we're Dolphins fans we're not restricted to the 72 team when we really prefer the 84 version. I'm a Fins fan and love the 84 team but also like the 93 version as well so I'd add dudes like Bernie Parmalee, Kirby, Fryar, etc. to the 72 and 84 squads and go to town from there. Raiders fans would be happy with their 76, 83, and 02 teams. Redskins 82-83, 87, and 91. SF 49ers 84, 89, and 94 or 98. Classic roster junkies would have it all in one roster!
Thinking about doing this 2 different ways:
1. There are rosters out there on MaddenShare, where folks with editors could pluck players off those rosters and put them onto one roster, like nDavis8 and Rysumm's Legends file. There are now rosters on Maddenshare....one file for 60's and 70's teams, and other year specific files like 1986, 1990, 1993, 1995, and 2007. Take enough players from those rosters, transfer to nDavis8's legends roster (Rysumm) and....PRESTO!
2. Or we could just do it manually and start with nDavis8's legends file. One player at a time. Maybe I take the AFC East for a week and load those rosters up by editing the hell out of them for a few days. MaddenShare it to the next fella for something like the NFC North teams. Rinse/Repeat. Obviously, this would take longer. I say this because I don't have the editor, I suck on the computer, and don't know if I'm smart enough to do it on my own. Ergo, the old fashioned method.
