NBA 2k Should have Females in Myplayer

Anyone agree? I have a friend who plays college basketball and loves playing 2k. It would be awesome to include them in myplayer and black top modes. Most people want to create a character they can relate to, why not include in in my player? GTA does it online?

I hope they will at some point.

Unless data shows that female players don't care about that stuff, then nah. But I don't see why it would hurt

I'd rather have different voices and more player customization before females in the game.

Because it's an NBA simulation,

they would either need to be a ref, or someone who works in the front office (behind the scenes)...

for female players, they'd have to go to a wnba type...maybe what they do with the euroleague now...

but I'm not sure if they'd get the kind of response they would need from their fanbase to do that. Probably they'd have to get sometype of licensing deal which would cost more money from them

and it's OBVIOUS they're in the business to make money from their gamers, not give it out to others (see vc)...

but who knows? maybe one day they will go that route...

With myplayer, it doesn't affect anything though. If its just limited to the myplayer section, what is wrong with it? its not like association. Its myplayer, my career, a unique experience that puts the user, in the shoes of an nba career. I think it would be a cool perk for female fans of the series.You afraid a virtual girl will cross you up? lol.

I'm not talking licensing. No one cares about the wnba. I'm talking about mycareer. Where a female gamer can create a female player for that unique experience. Mycareer is kinda rpg, in most cases, in can be its own game.

I'm not talking sim, The only place another player would interact with a female mycareer player is in the park, where that's not even sim to begin with. So come on, what is the negative aspect of adding a female in the game? none.

Since it's a fantasy mode i don't see why you couldn't have female MyPlayers. It would be cool if they had the commentators talking about how it's the first female player in the NBA and such.

Personally I wouldn't use it, as I'm a man, but if you were a female player or just wanted to role play then the option could be there.

One of the hidden teams in past 2K had a female on the team, one of the developers. She was Asian.

Honestly, having a female is not a bad idea if it only restricts to MyPlayer (and Create A Player).

To the people saying now, can you at least justify your reason? Your don't want your myplayer being schooled at the park by a female? That's a lame excuse. Honestly, I can't see a reason not to unless females are built differently in the game and it allows cheese. You're not going to play sim with them. I don't know about yall, but I never see a person play player to player sim games. Is that possible? I don't think so, so whats the big deal if a woman is in the game?

Focusing on customizing a player is a great reason, I'll say that, but eventually, It would be neat if they did. Cause its more or less an isolated gamemode outside the park/blacktop mode.

It's because we're all huge misogynists who are scared of getting crossed over by a female video game character, spot on.

I mean if you want to include a create a player option for females so they can take them online or w/e then yeh I guess it could work but it seems like a waste of resources to (assuming they continue with Mycareer storyline stuff) build anything else around a female character which you'd have to if you wanted to have them be able to build up a character for online stuff... On the other hand it's the NBA, ya'know an all male league so the game is natually going to have all male rosters.

I'm pretty sure the ratio to female nba fans is much large than wnba fans. Just because you like basketball and you're a female, doesn't mean you derseve an wnba game lol. Especially when you have zero interest in that game. If there was a wnba game and it was more hotter than nba2k game, and they had mycareer, I'd adovate the same thing.

There's no reason other than fixing cap first than not to include a female in the game. There are females who play sports games ya know.
