the park is a blast

Seriously. Got a 3 game winning streak going. Had 8, 9, 11 assists all three games. I'm much happier getting my teammates involved. But I'm having a hard time connecting on alleys. Have ooper 2 but still had 3 bad possessions and lost on the last shoot because of it. Any tips would help.

When you can run with people who want to play team ball, The Park is really fun.

I try to avoid oops entirely. The pick and roll works pretty well because people are horrible at communicating.

People have to be able to catch alley oops before you can successfully throw them. There's a thread around here explaining how to catch alley oops on the park.

Oh that makes sense. Is it just a tendency thing or is it an attribute factor?

It has to do with tendencies because everyone's alley oop tendency starts at 0. So to get that number up you have to throw yourself an alley oop in a mycareer game. Then you can begin catching them successfully.

Okay. Just got my teammate chemistry up to 84% so I'll try that next game. Thanks.

Re: the park is a blast

I only have fun if I have a team of 3 in party chat. It's a great time then cause we can all communicate and no one hogs the ball. But my experience with randoms has been terrible. No one plays D and everyone wants to hog the ball on O

Re: the park is a blast

Park's okay, but when you get some cool people to play with it's definitely fun.

I only got two friends with Xbox One so far, and only one has 2K cuz the other is broke now lol..and I don't really like talking to random people so it's just up to the 2K gods to decide what teammate we get in the 3v3.

Playing as a team pretty much nets you an instant W tho, I can play point with my PF and still get 6 assists easily just by passing the ball around for open looks.

..............

My best tips tho, definitely get lockdown defender...it's expensive but worth it. Catch and shoot is another good one. Most of my sig skills are for defense because that's what I've always been good at.

Oh and for alley oops, unless the person you're throwing it to has caught a self oop in my career you can't throw them one. So be careful, I know people who get like 4 turnovers because they keep throwing them to people who can't catch em.
