I can't wait until May 6 to play a baseball game, so I am buying MLB 14 for the PS3 just to hold me over until it comes out on the PS4. Anyone else doing this? I plan on starting a franchise on the PS3, then continuing it on the PS4 when it comes out in May.

Does anyone know if I will be able to transfer my PS3 franchise save file to the PS4 version, and continue that same franchise on the PS4 when it comes out in May?

I understand that there are cross platform saves for future titles. I just wonder if I can use a cross-platform save file within the current game of MLB 14.

We could do that in past years with the Vita and all indications are we can do that this year with all three platforms.

Probably covered 8000 times. If I buy PS3 The Show, will RTTD saves transfer to ps4 so I don't lose progress?? How do I transfer the save if so?

My same question for my franchise I plan on starting tomorrow when they release the ps3 version, if we can transfer or carry over our franchise, season and RTTD to the ps4 version on May the 6th once they release it then. I can't find a moderator or dev who has said we can or cannot carry over our ps3 saves for these modes over to the ps4 and continue THIS YEAR. They keep repeating the year to year saves which we all understand already.

You can transfer between your PS3, VITA and PS4 this year. They even mentioned it in the video "It's The Little Things"

Thanks, I was concerned because I own both systems and I want to start a franchise not just a season on the ps3 and continue that same franchise on the ps4 on may the 6th when that version is released ya know? In the "cross platform saves" trailer it only said start a "season". So I assumed that it only applied to the season mode because the franchise mode is to difficult to carry over from ps3 to the ps4 and continue your franchise you were playing on the ps3 without bugging it lol
