I know in this game you can start a season where the real NBA currently is. If I started one today would it give me the option to start in the offseason? If that is the case, would all the draft picks be the correct order (i.e. Cavaliers having 1st pick, Sixers having the 3rd and 10th, etc.)?

I'm fairly certain it puts you at the end of the Playoffs, but you would have to go through the draft lottery afterwards (which isn't accurate, but that's a different gripe). Teams with multiple picks will not have them. Teams that moved around in the lottery will have to win it again (Cleavland).

I recently did it and the Celtic got the first pick. Then they wanted to trade it to me for oladipo.
