I'm feeling like that 11 seconds given is not enough time to go through my pay call screen and make a call. I'm rushing to make that call that I want. Any recommendations on how to help me?

You're definitely not the only one. There's not much you can do about it, other than speed up your playcalling.

When idea would be to spend some time in practice, really familiarizing yourself with your defensive playbook. That's what I'm trying to do. Otherwise, I am going to keep calling the same three or four plays!

it tells you how many recievers they have, u can match it with a formation with the same amount of dbs, that takes like 1-2 seconds, then 9 seconds to pick a play, thats plenty of time. hasnt it always been like that in madden?

I haven't had many issues but think it should be 3-5 seconds longer.

You might be right but I do remember in an earlier edition of madden the time moved pretty quickly.

@skyboxer I agree 3-5 seconds and I'm good

CPU is picking plays faster now, which usually only leaves you only a little more than those 10 seconds to choose. Used to be it would take a little longer.

I too wish there were a couple to a few more seconds to pick a play while on defense, but after a while of learning the playbook, you start to get quicker picking your go-to plays in certain downs and situations. I agree, though. Just a little bit more time would be nice, regardless.

It's definitely an issue IMO. Some of us may have gotten used to it and adjusted but that doesn't make it ok.

I can find a play in ten seconds but its frustrating trying to do formation subs and find a play in ten seconds
