RTTS Questions

1a) I started a RTTS as a right-fielder. Are there preferred cameras for this mode, especially for playing outfield?

1b) On that note, is playing outfield recommended? Are there a couple positions that simply play better in this mode?

2) Why does it keep simulating my outfield time? I always have to interrupt.

3) When playing outfield, is there a way to alleviate the glitch where if you miss a catch you dont keep running in the same direction? Ive changed direction to run towards the ball after missing, but he keeps running in the original direction for a second or two. Highly frustrating.

Thanks in advance for any help

I have PS3 not 4 so don't know if applicable here or not.

1 - Perspective is always behind the player so no.

2 - Check your Mode Specific settings, notably Game Watch (Classic FFs to plays possibly involving you) & RTTS Fielding Opportunities.

3 - No idea.

Re: RTTS Questions

I'm a 1st baseman and many times, my player over runs the base when covering. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? It doesn't happen every time or I'd at least be able to judge it with practice.

If you press circle close enough to the base he will run right to it instead of you having to move the stick.

In RTTS that might be square. Default is anyway.

Didnt even think of that. Now that you mention it though. Playing as a 3B square is 1st base for me and X is 2nd. I started that player back when the game first came out and just started playing again last week so i dont remember if i changed the settings or not. I always though X was your base by default in RTTS unless you changed it.

Default is flipped (square for 1st, X for 2nd, etc.) unless you are a catcher. You can change to Classic to have circle for 1st, triangle 2nd, etc.

Re: RTTS Questions

The running bug can be overcome by coming to a complete stop and then changing direction. Annoying I know but it works for me.
