Why 2k7 is better than 2k 8

Its college hoops time and unfortunately there's no new game. I know I'm in the minority here, but I have to say ... 2k 7 is still the best. 2 k8 looks nice ( graphics) but I still find 2k7 to be the most realistic. Anyone else still play these gAmes? Just curious. Even without updated graphics / rosters, I'm still having fun with 2k7.
For me, 2k7 is better because:
- more turnovers, tipped balls, charges/blocking, loose ball fouls, etc
- 2/3 zone animations are better (defenders get their hands ups). Not a big deal if your primary defense is man-to-man, but important if primary d is zone. For me, I play Syracuse, so this definitely matters.
- 2k7 has real coaches.

I do agree that the 2-3 zone is somewhat broke in 2k8 and I mostly use man to man due to bad AI player cover switches. But 2k8 is a more well rounded game.

Yes, we are in the minority. I am a huge college hoops fan. I always make the joke that if they would have continued making college hoops games I would have flunked out of college. But yes, I prefer 2k7 over 2k8. I like the fullness of the player models, dunks, and simplicity of 2k7 over 2k8. Both are awesome games but I think 2k7 is the best college basketball game. I know I sound crazy Just my opinion though.

I love 2k7. I'm in my eleventh season at Wofford (I wish I could transfer to the SEC). I'm something like 360-68 with two national titles (one of my earlier ones was stripped because I was twelve and cheated the sliders). At college all of my friends are amazed by the quality and depth of the dynasty modes. I love 2k7. I tried to play 2K8, I just didn't feel it. Yes, they have updated rosters, but dunking is way too easy, and it is not as easy flowing as 2k7.

Does 2k7 have the ABL in it for recruiting? If not, how is the recruiting in 2k7?

I just picked up 2k7 on eBay for $30. What sliders do you use?
