Who are your "diamond in the rough" players you have found?

I have only been able to find one.

RB - Michael Smith rated 64 I think, found him in FAs. Played through my first season and he is a stud. He bumped up to 90s overall and he's fast and strong.

Guess I should add that I am wanting to know about FAs, not players on current teams. Anyone else find someone good?

Yes, I'll give you one that may or may not appeal to you. But Dri Archer!!! He's a WR for the Steelers and always gets cut and most time, if not all the time, he will disappear like so many do, but, I picked him up at the suggestion from somewhere here.

I run the Run & Shoot and I am the Oilers, so for me, he is an absolute stud as a slot WR. I think he's rated 66 or 68 overall, but for me he always plays well above that! He is just an absolute monster, despite his small frame/size. And fast!!! I think he's 97 speed and 96 acceleration!!!

Even if you just want to grab him to use him in your 3-wide sets, he would be perfect.

^ Oilers as in you play as the Texans with the Oilers uniforms or did you relocate a team?

I user Taylor Mays on defense. He's still a 6'3", 230 lb speedy freak in madden. All his awful intangibles don't matter as long as he's being usered.

No. I relocated the Raiders. An NFL without the Raiders is weird, but I feel that the NFL without the Oilers is weird too.

For me, it's Tajh Boyd.

In a spread scheme built around mobility, some read option, and short to intermediate passing, Boyd outperforms many higher-rated QBs for me.

I use him in the Kelly offense and signed him in my Raiders franchise. He outperformed Carr consistently and allowed me to ship off Carr for a 2nd round draft choice. You can lock Boyd up for cheap, and if you just upgrade him a little bit, he can be a long-time starter.

Re: Who are your "diamond in the rough" players you have found?

Dont know if were talking draft here, but i there was an olb who won the heisman from Utah State. Proj in the 3rd round so i snagged him accordingly with like the 25th pick in that round and he was a 91 ovr prototype with superstar dev. Boy has he become a beast in only his second season.

Only real player i can think of is Brandin cooks, who is probably not a diamond in the rough but he is the best slot receiver i think i ve ever had on my teams.
