I sent this question into the Q&A but never got an answer. I'd be very very disappointed if it's the same as nhl 15

Re: Season goals shown in nhl 16?
Seriously, if that's the case, that's pretty ridiculous. How hard is it to show the players current stats from the GM mode, in game? If we're shooting for realistic NBC presentation here, we're clearly missing the mark showing only game totals, and not season totals.
Really don't understand that decision to not fix that up and include it. Really takes a lot of the immersion away from a GM mode game. Why even play the games? It's just like a regular "play now" type game if the presentation isn't going to be based around the GM mode statistics. Surely it's possible, they show the season stats for goalies during the pregame. Left scratching my head on this one.Last edited by brandon27; 08-10-2015, 12:16 PM.Miami Dolphins - Detroit Red Wings - Toronto Blue Jays - Michigan Wolverines - CANADAComment

If I have to sit out for NHL16, I may just write off EA all together. If that's how they want to run their company, that's fine. But it's not worth me wasting $60 dollars for a few hours of enjoyment, and weeks of frustration.Comment

This is completely unacceptable. I was finally going to upgrade to next gen and this is the only game I'd be getting. I'm afraid this tidbit just killed that idea.Comment

Luckily, the girlfriend wants one for the eventual release of the Final Fantasy remake, and I want it for The Show. But, I'm missing playing a hockey game so much. It's going to be a real bummer if NHL16 ends up being an "Online Improve Only" version of NHL15.Comment

I can't figure out why they wouldn't fix this? it should be a quick and easy fix and I believe a majority of us offline players made it clear that we wanted it.. it baffles me

Re: Season goals shown in nhl 16?
Here is what I don't understand...
They go through all these hoops to increase the immersion by upgrading the atmosphere of each arena, etc; then they kick the presentation in the balls by not adding the in game display of the scoring players season goal total...which would take, what? An hour? Two hours? I don't know, but it should just be a given.
Without it, it really isnt much different playing a Play Now game.Comment

Like I've said before. Online has ruined development of this game.Comment

Re: Season goals shown in nhl 16?
Not only should they be putting it back in they should totally expand on this
Like showing accumulated assists and showing things like
Toews (45) 2nd in league
stuff like that so we don't have to filter thru the clunky sorting interfacesComment

Re: Season goals shown in nhl 16?
Same with career stats "That's Crosby's 1000 point of his career", or "at this pace, Stamkos has a shot at 60 goals this season".
I'm not a programmer, but the omission of season stats is baffling to me.
Is it really that hard?
I guess I shouldn't hold my breath for intermission highlights from around the league.Comment
