Please help - how do I prevent this glitch from happening

In an online CFM with 4 others, I've repeatedly had an issue where in the middle of a game a glitch occurs and makes it impossible to continue. I'll break the offensive huddle, and all 11 of my players will retreat back to my own goalline. None of them will lineup on the ball. If I call timeout or take a delay of game, it will happen again on the next play. After repeatedly pressing X to try and snap it, the ball will eventually become live and all 11 defenders will try and fail to pick up the ball. They all just run around the ball. The clock will run out, but the play never ends because the ball just sits there. So I eventually have to exit the game.

This has happened in 3 consecutive weeks, against the cpu or another user. And it's happened multiple times each week, I'll restart my game and it inevitably will occur again at some point.

If anyone has any suggestions, I'd appreciate it. Thank you

I just made a post about this. It happens to me and only me, vs the cpu or another player.

The other 7 teams in my league have never had it happen to them unless they play me...

By any chance do you use a custom playbook?

When playing against CPU, the only way I've found to fix this is to super sim one play, then it is back to normal. Timeouts don't work. And DO NOT snap the ball.


But if you are doing the 2 controller/custom playbook for both/no drive goals workaround then you CANT supersim so idk what to do there....


Also I've never played pvp so I don't know if you can supersim. If so, try it. If not, we are SOL.

Yes I do. I thought that could be it too, but I use my custom playbook in two different CFM's. It occurs in only one of the two.

I have tried super sim and the next play, my defense ran off the field. That didnt work for me.

I am the only one of the 7 of us who use a custom playbook. I switched to a regular playbook the last two games and it has worked without freezing. I will report back when I have more info, but the playbook might be the case since it only happens when I am on offense.
