*Help | Looking for A Club...

So I'm now a year and a half into "football", and still massively obsessed.

I've learned so much the past 18 months, but now want to further my knowledge from mainly EPL clubs and major clubs of the other major Euro leagues (i.e. PSG, Juventus, Barcelona, etc.), to that of the lower leagues in England.

I'd probably like to start in the championship and then (eventually?) work my way down.

I'm not looking to replace Arsenal by any means, but I'm looking for a young squad with lots of potential to develop in MM.

Would love you guys with more knowledge to offer some insight as to who you recommend based on the above criteria (YOUNG and PROMISING).

Thanks guys, looking forward to discussing...

Wolves and Reading are young and fairly good. Derby County has Hughes. You can build around him in the midfield.

Hedges, I know you are looking to start in the Championship, but if you want an enjoyable challenge I suggest Portsmouth out of League 2. They have their actual stadium (Fratton Park) in the game and have a rich history but have fallen flat on their faces financially recently.

Just my 2 cents!

Thanks guys for the feedback. I will check out the rosters for the above!

Anyone else have any suggestions?

Until they got relegated from the Premier league in about 2001 Coventry City had been in top flight for longer than any club without being relegated except Arsenal Everton and Liverpool . In real life they are now top of league one. You could try and get them back into the big time

Portsmouth have become the career team "du jour" in FIFA 16, mainly because of Fratton Park. I currently have a manager career going with them and having the actual stadium in-game does make a huge difference. If you're somewhat new to lower league football, you're going to get the full tour as you (hopefully!) bring your team up through the ranks, and Portsmouth are stacked enough that you should be able to earn League 1 promotion in your first season.

On a side note, I seriously recommend a book called "Bloody Confused!", it's about an American sports journalist who moves to England and becomes a Portsmouth supporter. Essential reading for anyone looking to learn more about English football from an American perspective..

Pick a team that has fallen from grace in each decade

2000s - Leeds United
1990s - Sheffield Wednesday
1980s - Nottingham Forest

Others:
AFC Wimbledon
Bolton Wanderers
Luton Town

I like picking a team that is from League 2 but has some young players with good potential, a good scouting system, and some cash. It's fun to build a team.

Not sure which team I'm going with yet though.
