Official MLB 16 : Road to the Show Thread

Okay , It's that time of year finally to get our RTTS fix on for 2016. I have been thinking about what I want to do this year and I might actually try some fielding this year ( I usually just bat ). A middle infielder sounds like it would be fun to try for once. I just have one player to transfer over this year from 15 as I didn't play as much as I have in years past. This new version looks awesome with all the different challenge options it will be a lot of fun. Good luck to all the regular RTTS players and for all the new players you will love it.

Re: Official MLB 16 : Road to the Show Thread

I will be transferring over 2 saves from MLB 15. My second baseman for the Phillies and my third baseman for the Twins.

I am thinking about starting another RTTS as a starting pitcher.

I also thinking it might be cool to create a outfielder / slap hitter like Ichiro Suzuki and I think I will call him Sum-Ting Wong.

Re: Official MLB 16 : Road to the Show Thread

I have several saves to carry over

1. CF Elvis Money - This was my main RTTS guy for 2015. I played him almost exclusively.

2. 1B Tom Maddox - My main player from 2014

3. Closer Tommy Madrigal - Lesser played.

I think I may have a starter in there too but not far enough to probably carry over.

I was thinking about starting a SS or 3B in 2016 as those are the positions I have never tried in RTTS.

Lol @ Sum-Ting Wong. Yep he's something that have gone wrong.... lol

Infield is probably the best and most fun to field in RTTS in my opinion. I've used SS and 2B, as well as CF. But I find it hard to track the ball (using the players cam) as an outfielder.... but again I do suck as an outfielder IRL lol.

If I do RTTS this year it'll probably be SS or CP.

I can never track the ball properly with an outfielder so I stick to the infield. Having a blast with my second baseman.

OF play is the toughest I think. I won 3 or 4 straight Gold Gloves with my player who was at 2B, but my team had a big need for an outfielder and made a trade for a decent 2B that was backing me up, so I converted to RF. Definitely won't be getting any Gold Gloves out there! Been playing in the OF for a couple seasons now and it is still pretty tough. When the ball is over your head, I just get pretty disoriented in which way to go to get to it.

The camera switch is awful on balls over your head.
