Carryover Franchise issues?

I've seen several posts about this being an issue in different discussions and honestly can we keep this for its own discussion since a lot of people seem to use this feature.

The big issue is morale. When carryover season is imported, all players have "star status". Pitchers status is "ace". Just curious if anybody has found a workaround or have to wait to be patched.

Feel free to add anything else that happens with carryover.

We're aware of the issue and working on a fix, but in the meantime, if you simulate to the end of the season, all Player Roles should update correctly.

If we go ahead and start the carryover season and start playing in April, will the patch take immediately? Or would we have to reimport?

I don't mind to go ahead and start my carryover along as patch fixes bug during season. Hope this make sense.

What about the stats being imported improperly? Is that part of the fix?

If we start our carry over franchise when the game comes out and don't have to import our save from 15 again when the patch comes out that will help some. I will just take my franchise a little slower until the fix comes out but if we have to restart and import our save from 15 then it's better just to wait.

Only issue I have seen is it randomly assigns your player a birthplace and you can't change it.
