Oops. Deleted '15 unable to load '15 franchise file

I deleted '15 game file off my hard drive. the ps4 won't let me copy my '15 franchise files from usb onto the hard drive now...

The message reads: "cannot copy. the application for this saved data is not installed"

    Any workarounds for this?

have a promo code from the amazon pre-order (as a reward) to anyone who can solve this problem!

Did you save it to the cloud? You can pull it from there if you did save it there.

Unfortunately, I did not. I only have it on a USB stick

Your going to have to install the game again to load the saves onto to ps4.

The biggest oops, then, would be that I already sold '15 on eBay...

Something does not add up...you don;t need the game installed to transfer saves. All you need is the saves on the hard drive, don;t even need them in the cloud although that helps for backup purposes. I had 15 un-installed and could still transfer mine.

I only have them on a usb stick. The ps4 won't let me copy it onto the hard drive without a version of mlb '15 installed...

^^ His saves are on a usb. He is trying to get that back onto the hard drive but needs the game installed first

Can you upload from USB to the cloud then pull from there? Settings > Application Saved Data Management > Saved Data on USB Storage > Upload to Online Storage

Is it possible to do that without having '15 installed?

I only see "copy to system storage" and "delete" as options

If you don't have 15 installed, it won't let you copy from the cloud. At least it wouldn't from 14 to 15.

Can I copy and paste the '15 franchise file into a folder containing '16 files?
