Yes, but it shouldn't just be random. If you get caught in a bad position and get crushed with a perfect strike it should be lights out.

Yes. But they need to slow down the kicks that you can't spam them. Also more stamina tax for kicking.

Otherwise the people who spam front kicks, head kicks, and all that spin stuf all the time without thinking will have a lot of 1 shot ko's

Not sure but in the first undisputed game sometimes it felt random as hell.

I chose " Maybe. If they're very rare " simply because they are very rare in real MMA competition at the level of the UFC. The only reason they are very rare, is because real fighters fight really smart. In EA UFC, you don't have to fight smart because all you have to do is make sure you can connect a bunch of strikes of any kind that include quick short jabs even at the closest range possible.

It all depends on how the devs do it, and how move set levels will be assigned to specific fighters. Someone like Miocic or Vitor Belfort for example, should have an ability to KO you with a high kick and it shouldn't even be that rare for guys like them, I want to have to fight carefully against guys like that, and right now I don't have to, I just have to watch out for jab combos which is silly and another reason why I don't play this game but want it to be good since UFC 1.

Again what I said in the EA UFC forums for years. DO WHAT THE UNDISPUTED SERIES DID and that goes for every single thing except for graphics (unless it means 60fps like Undisputed 1,2,3's were on previous gen consoles)

Dear devs, do what MOBA's do. Make it a very hard game by making it a sim, a game where players will lose fights not because the system is senseless and will rage quit, but they will lose because they will get caught with a big strike that will make them fight carefully the next fight, where they'll have it watch out for them unlike now. It will suck people in like MOBA's do because you'll feel how deep it is just like MMA is at the highest level.

Goodluck ya goofs, no idea what you'll do but I have my fingers crossed for at least an average game that will at least feel fluid in it's footwork and striking like in Undisputed

Also remember people out there care deeply about their records, and if they get knocked out and it feels at all random, everyone will turn into lay and pray artists.

After looking at EA MMA KO Highlights, I thought this was worth bringing up. Even though EA UFC 2 is much better in some ways, I felt like the KO's were more similar to real life in the way that they happened.

There was no need for a 4-5 hit combo beforehand, it was just a well timed strike that would do the job. I think 1-hit KO's if they are properly implemented would add a sense of danger to the stand-up. If I remember correctly the Gamechanger Solid Altair wanted a more EA MMA-like damage system.
