Ive noticed that the Madden trial starts on Thursday the 18th. Hasn't it usually been Fridays the last few years? (Since it became a thing)

Re: EA Access Trial Date
It's always been Thursday but there is a rumor it could go up Wednesday. Not sure if that has been squashed or not.
Edit: NVM saw this Tweet from EA Access.

Re: EA Access Trial Date
It's always been 5 days. I've been an EA Access subscriber for two years and every game has been 5 days before release. In fact, last year, they released Madden 16 on Wednesday night (6 days) so I'm hoping they do that again this year...even if they did tweet it was coming out the 18th.
You guys are probably thinking of the EA Season Ticket they used to have back on PS3/360 where games came out 3 days early (on Friday's).

Re: EA Access Trial Date
1) Would be nice if the EA Access program allowed unlimited time to play. Not sure what the issue would be. I cant believe that many people who want to play the game early and play more than 10 hours are now already fully committed to buying the game.
2) Or at least allow this for those who already have purchased.Comment

Perhaps allow X hours each day would be better?Comment

Re: EA Access Trial Date
The way they have the trials setup, you can download the game at any point of the year and play the 10 hour trial. When you buy the game digitally, you don't have to re-download it again, it converts it over to the real game. Not sure they can have it setup to have unlimited play for a time frame with this model. Its a solid model for letting people try out games and then to get them to purchase.Comment

Also, is the EA Access the FULL game? Meaning, it is exactly as though you purchased the disk and popped it in?PS5Comment

Re: EA Access Trial Date
It's the full game, timer only ticks down when you are playing the game (menus loading etc. included) each time you start the game again you will be notified how much time is remaining with the trial 10 hours. make sure to completely close game out on Xbox one when not playing. If I remember correctly the timer will run if you fail to do this. If you go over the 10 hours just create a second ea access account, pay the $5 again and get another 10 hours. Just cancel before the monthly payment recurs.Last edited by reverend_heat; 08-12-2016, 04:23 PM.Comment
