Christian Laettner Overall in 2k17?

With the Dream Team in NBA 2k17, Christian Laettner will be the only college player on the team. That being said, does anyone have any idea what his Overall might be? I know he was in some of the earlier 2k game and he was in 2k13 on the dream team but I don't have any of those games, so does anyone who has those games know what his overall is? Thanks.

I'd guess he'd be in the mid 70's. I can't remember what he was in 2K13.

I remember watching a YouTube video of NBA 2k3 and I believe he was a 76 or 77. But that was when he was 33 years old so maybe he'll be higher/lower. Just interested because he's one of my favorite players but he doesn't have an official 2k card.

No one knows for sure, but the safest bet will be that he'll be in the high 70s or low 80s.

Of course, this is assuming 2k approaches this with a 1992 mindset of thinking Laettner was going to be such an incredible player that he deserved to be picked over shaq as the college entrant on the dream team.

I'd guess Laettner would be in the high 70s/low 80s. Since he was just coming out of college at that time, I'd treat him like any top 5 draft prospect in regards to ratings.

You must be younger than 25 if you think this.

Back in 1992 there was absolutely no debate about Shaq/Laettner on the Dream Team. Laettner was a demi-god in college, was a 2-time champion, player of the year and was considered one of the greatest college players of all time. It most definitely wasn't because they thought he was going to turn into something amazing. It was strictly because they wanted one college player on the team and he was the best college player in the game. Not the best NBA prospect, but best college player. Hindsight is 20/20 I guess, but back then (and I remember it well, I was obsessed with the Dream Team) nobody even batted an eye at his selection over Shaq or Mourning (or anyone) as the college player.

Probably low 80s. He average 19 and 8 in his rookie season.
