Is Vikings Stadium Bug in M17?

I am currently dealing with this issue in M16. I traded away a good portion of my big contract guys and still have a team rated A- with over 35 mil of free cap. However, as an owner I am over 50 mil in the negative. I received a warning about mismanaging my team due to this bug. I am likely to lose some of my other stars at the end of the season because of my negative financials. I had to draft well to prepare for this and have multiple 2nd and 3rd round picks in the coming draft. The 15 other guys in my league are all understanding, but this won't stop the CPU from bidding on the guys that I am set to lose.

Please tell me this is not going to happen to me in M17. I like being the owner of my team. I don't want to settle for being a coach.
