Welcome to the Waiver Wire, in this thread you will find preseason FA bidding as well as the in season Waiver claims. The order will be used based on the 2016 NFL Draft order for the 1st season and the order will change each season after that based on records from the previous year. I will post the waiver wire section of the rules below for easy access and viewing so there won't be any confusion. I strongly recommend reading them to be sure you are doing things correctly.
***MAKE SURE YOU QUOTE A BID IF YOU ARE OUT BIDDING SOMEONE. IT HELPS THE GUY KNOW HE WAS OUTBID, PLUS IT MAKES IT EASIER TO TELL WHAT'S GOING ON WHEN GOING BACK AND REVIEWING. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN THE BEING VOID***
Here is the current waiver wire order:

**List Updated as of 1/15**
**List isn't based on draft order, but standings ranking on DL**
PRESEASON WAIVER PROCESS: The way this works in preseason (Where we will start off) is the best 4 teams will get only 6 points to bid. The worst 4 teams will get the full 10 points to bid and everyone else will be given 8 points to bid. In the event of a tie, the tie breaker will be the waiver wire order, so say I bid 8 on a guy as the Falcons and the Giants also bid 8, I will get the guy, but I will move to #32 on the waiver wire and everyone else will shift up.
FOR IN SEASON WAIVER: It will work the same in season, the only difference is, there will be no points. So say a guy is released, you will put in a claim. Whoever claims the guy with the highest waiver wire spot will win the player. However, the team will then move to the bottom of the list.
Spoiler
Waiver Wire (Preseason/ In-Season)
Preseason
Section 1. There will be a 24 hour waiver wire period during week 1 of each preseason.
Section 2. Each team will have 10, 8, or 6 points to use to make “bids” for a player/s e.g. 10 pts for 1 player or 2 pts for 5 players or 1 pt for 10 players, etc. The bottom 4 teams will get 10 pts, most teams will get 8pts, and the top 4 teams (teams that played in the championship game) will get 6pts.
Section 3. Once you make a bid, you can not increase or decrease that bid unless you have been outbid by someone else.
Section 4. Waiver order is initially determined by draft order (1st pick is 1, 2nd pick is 2, etc) then it will be adjusted as claims are won e.g. Falcons win their bid for a player, they immediately drop to the bottom of the waiver order after winning that bid. Because of this, you should list players in order of importance to better ensure you get your most wanted player before dropping to the bottom of the waiver order. The waiver order will reset at the beginning of each preseason( based on the draft order) and apply for waiver wire bids for the rest of the season.
Section 5. The 24 hour bidding window will be extended for any late bids to prevent sniping.
In-Season
Section 1. When a player is released, the team that released him MUST post it in the waiver wire thread.
Section 2. That player will be on waivers for the rest of that week as well as the entire next week. During this time, teams may put in a claim for that player.
Section 3. Waiver claims MUST be posted in the waiver wire thread.
Section 4. At the end of the waiver period, the player will be award to the team highest on the waiver order that put in a claim. That team will then fall to the bottom of the waiver order just like the preseason waiver wire.
Section 5. The final preseason waiver order will carry over and begin the initial waiver order of the in-season waiver wire.
****Also for preseason bidding, please list guys in order of priority. So say I have 8 points to bid, It would look like this....****
Atlanta Falcons Bid on the following players...
Player A - 3 Points
Player B - 3 Points
Player C 1 Point
Player D 1 Point
We will put dates on and update after we begin.

Re: 4th and 1 Waiver Wire **Preseason and In-Season**
FA Bidding will open at 9pm est. It will close Saturday (9/10) between 7pm est and 9pm est. This is to prevent sniping. Read the rules before bidding please and quote a bid if you outbid someone. If you fail to quote, then your bid will be invalid.
