Skills trainer

Maybe I am overlooking it. But is there a skills trainer like in madden? First NHL game I've bought in years. Would be nice to practice.

I know there used to be a tutorial. I'm not sure if it is still there. What I would do is set the on ice trainer to rookie, go into practice and set the practice to 5 vs 0 and just mess around.

although I usually just do the free skate 1 v goalie and practice skating , breakaways, shooting... deking

it's helps a lot to just skate around in and get a feel or shooting on the goalie... but you can setup your type of practice scenario

I don't believe there is any skills like in FIFA and Madden

there use to be but I haven't seen in this years version

I'm in the same boat as you. This is the worst game for teaching newbs how to play, lol. They should REALLY have a skills trainer for this game. There are some scenarios that just don't come up very often and are impossible to practice for when they do. (ie, I can't win a fight to save my life)
