Any word on whether the 2K team is planning on doing year-to-year saves? I am losing interest in playing franchise modes that have to restart every single year.

Yea am having the same issue. I use to have it from mlb the show but since they have year to year saves I don't stress to rush a season. But I don't believe there is any word on year to year saves for nba 2k sadly

According to Chris Lowe it's something there aware of and trying to figure out a way to put it in. I agree having it in MLB is AWESOME and I hope 2K follows suit.

Correct. This was discussed informally, but I got the impression that the 2K team is going more towards eSports than anything else. We are seeing this now with the tournaments they are hosting.

I just hope for nba 2k18 this feature will be added. Honestly I can't enjoy my league /gm without it. I guess I feel spoiled by mlb the show

Thanks for all the responses. I totally agree with this comment. 100% can't enjoy it now. It feels so pointless now.
