Lightning Strike. Could use some input

Hey fellas, I got struck by lightning and lost the PS4 and my TV. I am going to go ahead and upgrade to PS4pro but I could use some input on the TV side.

I was looking online at various places and I kept coming back to a Samsung 65" 4K SUHD LED model UN65KS800DFXZA. Does anyone know anything about these or have a suggestion. I would appreciate your input.

Thanks

Here's website that goes in depth from most expensive to budget 4K HDR tv http://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/by-...dr-gaming/best

The tv you listed is the second best tv you can buy , am hoping to buy the same one once the price hit below $1,000

The 8000 series Samsung TV's are some of the best price to performance ratio TV's you can get right now. Unless you want to go super expensive those are what you want to get. I work for a custom home theater company and we have installed a lot of these and haven't had one issue or complaint from a customer.

Yes sir other than my wallet is lighter. I apparently had a senior moment when I was hooking up the other and ran everything through the surge protector except the satellite dish.....lesson learned.

I started my two hour journey to civilization and when I arrived, I checked the forums and felt good about the 8500 with the information that y'all had provided. The 8500 that was supposedly available could not be found, so I ended up forking over an additional 500 bucks and got the Samsung 9500. I hope that was a decision I won't regret.

So now I have a new 65" 4K SUHDTV (I have no idea what the hell that means) and a ps4 pro and March 28th seems like a million miles away.

Thanks again for everyone's input.

Wish lightning would strike at my house. I want a 8000 so bad, but hard to justify when I have two nice working TVs.
