Has anybody figured out how to win a decision?

I'm playing offline and I've had matches where I had the majority of hard strikes, higher percentage, most takedowns and I still lose the decision.

What factors are used to determine who wins?

Its a little screwed up (judging will be fixed in UFC 3) but aggression (moving forward) and maintaining top control are pretty high in the judging criteria.

I'm sure you can't comment on this if you know answer, but I wonder if the game will use the new and old unified rules depending on where you are fighting. Lol.

Don't forget takedowns and advancing submissions. You get get outstruck a lot in a round, but land a takedown and advance a sub just one stage, and you still win. It's messed up, but it has saved me many times, take that dumb parry -> jab straight double kick spammers!

Top control > Takedowns > Octagon Control >>>> everything else

If Cecil's is judging then reverse that and add in sportsmanship

If it's a championship fight = Red Corner > Reversals > TDD > Sweeps > Sigs landed > total strikes thrown / landed

Non Championship fight Welterweight and under = Takedowns > Submission attempts > clinch control > total strikes missed ^*5 / sig % over time on top divided by number of fights played in past hour > octagon control

Championship fight vs someone you dislike = you lose 3 rounds automatically
