Yeah, I expected that to be a few points higher, but I think I'm getting where they are trying to go with this one. Even though he led the league in sacks, his rate of pressures were at the low end of the spectrum so I can get not wanting him too overpowered.

Add to that he was mainly used as a nickel rusher. There were only a few games right in the middle of the season where he saw extensive time at SAM and that was due to injuries. Maybe they knocked down his AWR ratings off that seeing as how he was drafted as a DE. I know his MCV and ZCV ratings leave a lot to be desired.

Still should have been in the top 5 though. Atlanta used him to spy in sub packages down the stretch and in the playoffs so he's got a diverse skill set.

When healthy I believe Clay Mathews is still a top 5 talent. Houston didn't even play last year but Clay plays hurt and his ratings drop for it. *Well his stats are down so he must be declining* I'd still take a healthy Clay over both Jones and Houston. Sean Lee is more of a Sam Backer and like others have stated should be categorized properly. Let's get this game released so we can start debating real things tho! Lol

Yeah, when Clay is on top of his game, he is a real nutcase (in a good way).

A lot of 3-4 OLB's. Wonder if that is just how the OVR system is weighted which excludes 4-3 LB's ?

I would have put Vic Beasely over Chandler Jones.

Typical response from a Vikings fan, wouldn't expect anything different.

Clay is over rated, constantly hurt or his hair gets out of whack and he needs a breather to comb and flip it around like a flirty lil girl...

These are some valid points and I understand him not being top 3 because his rookie season wasn't standout by any means even though he was playing injured so he only had this season which arguably could be an outlier but this year he dominated significantly on a team with a very weak pass rush for most of the season.

It isn't often that the leading pass rusher in sacks in the league is rated so far below the top 5. Granted like I said I don't think he should be rated 90+ but I certainly think 89 would have been acceptable, it puts him in the top 5 which is where the leader in sacks in the NFL should be placed while not being overrated. It's not like he didn't have a strong season with 15.5 sacks and 6 fumbles.

Wasnt Anthony Barr in the uppers 80s last year? This year I think he's a 79, what happened?

I thought he was really good.
