NBA 2K18 MyLeague/MyGM: What's Hot and What's Not

Beyond the unresolved Kyrie Irving situation, we are finally and officially in the NBA dead period: after free agency but before training camps. So you know what that means, right? Time to talk about NBA 2K. With the recent news dump of MyGM and MyLeague upgrades, let’s take a look at what’s hot and what’s not so hot.

Trade logic is a huge one for me. Its just awful as is. Rookie draft the other day and Magic select Michael Porter Jr. All is normal until they offer him up for the 10th pick and a second rounder. I just quit. It doesnt have to be perfect but man its just terrible right now.

MyLeague is gonna be spectacular this year. In future editions, I wouldn't mind seeing the MyGm owners in the mode with their different philosophies and have that affect coaches/player. Then, every so often a new owner with a different philosophy takes over. Just something to add a more dynamic element.

Yea trade logic is something that can always improve. The idea of having guys demand the same money or more than comparable players is really dope, hope they implement that.

Re: NBA 2K18 MyLeague/MyGM: What's Hot and What's Not

Trade logic is a hard one for me because not so long ago the Suns had 4 Point Guards.

Demarcus Cousins went to the Pelicans for a bag of marbles.

Boston depleted their roster to get Gordon. Hell the C's were talking Isiah Thomas trades after he got them to the ECF.

Literally no current All Star other than LeBron/Irving are in the East anymore to the best of my knowledge.

Kyrie Irving wants out of going to the Finals every year, 2 years after hitting the Game 7 championship game-winner for the franchise that drafted him.

Hawks gave away the best 3 point shooter in the league to their ECF rival for nothing.

Philly drafted Center after Center after Center.

This is every day stuff that makes ZERO sense to me, so other than LeBron going to Orlando, it's really not all that bad.
