Madden 2018 performance on regular PS4

I kept readying how "smooth" the game was. I guess that is only for Pro setups.

I played 2 games and the Frame rate is not as fluid as it was on 2017.

I'm not seeing a huge improvement graphic wise either.

Huge letdown that I was not expecting. Madden has been always smooth as butter.

Some plays make the game frames dip badly. (Shotgun inside run) or when you pan the camera on pre play is really jerky and lag.

Does they will improve the performance on patches for this who one regular PS4?

Frame issues was my number 1 reason for upgrading to the Pro.

It was really bad with BF1, but not now.

I understand. But I already have my PC that need upgrade every 6 month. My next console will be ps5 or whatever is called.

What I'm sad is that for regular PS4 owners I'm not seeing an upgrade that explains the bad frame rate. It looks better than last year but I would not trade this graphics at the cost of these frame rate.

Hopefully they can improve the frame rate for regular ps4 owners

Have you tried it with boost mode toggle on/off.

What is that? I'm in regular PS4.
Never mind I just google. That is an option for PS4 pro.

I'm on regular PS4 and the frame can't keep it up on some scenarios. (Inside running from shotguns or pan out camera from pre play).

Menus are much faster than last year. That applies to both pro and regular.
