Icon2 Fiddy's NHL 18 Sliders

Back at it again with NHL 18 Sliders and my keep it simple scale in hopes of not getting slideritus.

The scale (0/12/25/37/50/62/75/87/100)

I play home games on All-Star and road games on Superstar. For me this keeps Franchise mode games more exciting with home ice advantage and having to be on your toes when playing on the road.

I had some solid results last year with NHL 17 for the most part late in the year once I figured out there was a save glitch after making changes to an initial pre-set save. See below for the issue and from what I saw so far, it's still an issue with NHL 18.

After you create and save an initial pre-set (mine Fiddy14) any changes after that don't stick unless you cycle through the pre-sets and go back to it (mine Fiddy14). Example, I set my pre-set and sliders and then save it. Play a few games and want to make a change. I make said change, save it, back out, and go back in. The slider is back to what it was prior to the save. To make sure the changes stick you have to save it as you would normally, then cycle through all the pre-sets until you get back to yours and the changes you made will be there. Odd glitch, but that's the small work around.

Check out the sliders below, play some games, post some feedback if ya want.

Enjoy..

I only played two quick games with them and they play well for me. Give them a try and see what ya think.

Lots of solid slider threads to come here on OS. Like last year I may even combine all of them and come up with an averaged out set. Those were a blast to use last year as well.

Thumbs up Re: Fiddy's NHL 18 Sliders

Fiddy! you are the man! I wasn't going to buy NHL 18 this year due to the poor "out of the box" gameplay, but your Slider set has given me a reason to keep playing. While not perfect, I'm loving the outcome of your sliders so far. Ill be watching the feed to see if you keep tinkering for perfection. Thanks again and keep up the great work!

Re: Fiddy's NHL 18 Sliders

I played a few post patch and nothing stood out in general.

I was already considering the changes below..

Bumping dekes from 50 to 37 and possibly puck control as well.

Then lowering pass accuracy to 0 for CPU and one timer accuracy to 6 or 12.

Re: Fiddy's NHL 18 Sliders

Home Game on All Star, 6 min periods, deke slider from 50 to 37, CPU pass accuracy from 25 to 0.

Only changes to sliders on post 1 are mentioned above here.

Not a bad game, the Blues started off dominating the game and scored a few minutes in. I then was able to gain control of the game a bit. Game was tied at 1 after 2 periods, the Rust scored twice in the 3rd. One a min long breakaway and the other a snap shot off the rush.
