Lack of gameplay videos a problem?

Hi all,
Long time reader of the forum but infrequent poster. I just wanted to check the overall opinion of the group as to the lack of gameplay videos (be they official or not) for 2K18. Is it going to impact your decision to buy the game or not? I am really frustrated that there are next to none out there - but sadly I'll still be there on day one buying the game. What I have seen impressed me enough - and to be honest I've bought every version since the old PS3 days. The videos just build the anticipation and excitement, and the cynic in me wonders if their absence points to concerns from 2K about what they'll show. What happened to Ronnie and LD's annual match? Always looked forward to that. Oh well - only a few more days and we'll see for ourselves.

Long time reader? I mean, how long? I ask only because this is nothing new for 2K.

I've seen them release gameplay videos AFTER the game releases. Once they dropped the Momentous video in November. Game still came out in September like always.

It won't matter for me. I liked what I saw in The Prelude. That's as good an advertment as anything you could ever watch.

Nah there are plenty of gameplay videos on youtube man. Even if they were not dropped by 2k officially, you can, surprisingly, find plenty of them on youtube

Even if there were no videos, the blogs were enough for me.

The game is this week, we'll surely get some more vids and impressions before release from the lucky folks who get it early haha..... happens every year.

I am in a wait and see approach this year. I want to see what kind of impressions you guys are having before I would make a purchase. I might sit out this cycle. Game feels incomplete on defense to me. But I'm sold on offense. Can't wait until release.
