    Fictional Rosters (NCAA 14)

    Looking for a way to freshen up the game. I notice most games have some form of fictionalized rosters these days that I've really enjoyed. However, NCAA does not. Two questions: would anyone be interested in this kind of roster, and two would anyone be interested in helping create it?

    what do you mean by fictional? because you can already auto-generate names before starting a dynasty

      I very much want to play with a roster like this, random ratings, rankings, coaches (different playbooks for the teams). I'm very inexperienced at making rosters, and really know nothing outside of using EA DB Editor to make a couple of small edits.

        Yes I understand what your saying. But the idea would be derandomizing it a bit and actually creating a fictional verse, with unique players, team identities, perhaps even in a specific time period. Similar to those we've seen for other sports games. I have the will, but we would need the help of someone who has a good understanding of the ratings and mechanics of this game.

          I would play with a totally fictional roster, but it would be a pretty massive undertaking to create. The best way to do it to save a ton of hours may be to edit all the coaches and team info, but not the players, and then sim several years ahead in dynasty until there are all generated players populating the roster. Otherwise editing every detail of every player and coach would take several months.

            A good fictional base, with a few choice edits to coaches and impact plyers should do the trick much faster. If it takes several months then, oh well.

              I have been working on one on and off for over a year. I have one for Madden 17, which for me adds a whole new experience to the game. I keep getting side tracked with 2K and Madden. I have been editing it the last few days.

              For my NCAA 14 version I am attempting to make attempting the main players all freshmen. This give 4 years of replay value for me personally on top of editing the incoming freshman.
