I feel like in this years NHL 18 default all-star competitive settings you get penalties for almost anything. Slightest touch on opposite player will get u a sweet 2 min penalty while they're basically hugging you throughout the entire match

There are several of us here who put in hours of work to create slider sets that address practically everything in our power. So...I dunno, maybe try some slider sets?

Well if the games go anything like in the pre season we maybe seeing 5-7 PP's for each team LOL..

I'm barely seeing any penalties whether it's on competitive or full sim. I think I've seen the equivalent amount of penalties in the 2-minute period HUT offline games. This game isn't making any sense to me right now.

I think penalties are the same as they've been for a couple of years. Shielding, quick and well-timed dodges with the LS, and RS deking can draw a ton of stick infractions, and the sliders work well too if you're not seeing enough.

I can’t stress the above enough if people are not seeing penalties. I was one of those guys. Then I started to use the puck protect more and right stick dekes and boom, trips, hooks, etc by the CPU.

Just to clarify, these pens only occur on franchise mode, more so after beginning to use the new skill stick, on hut im fine for some reason

No sliders, they feel like cheating for me

More frustrsting when im the only one experiencing this it seems

Sliders feel like cheating, yet they unlock the balance in gameplay we all seek. Makes sense...
