Okay, maybe there isn't a lot of threads, but there is a few and they should have the info that you requested.

Topic Starter, it basically identifies the guy that you want your lineman to pay special attention to when blocking (IE a blitzer or a defender that you want blocked on a run play).

"mike" is the defender who is used to set the blocking scheme, the offensive line will adjust their blocking assignments based on who you (the qb) point as the midpoint of the defense.

I didn't have an answer for him, and it's really easy to use the search feature.
