One important thing we changed this year was how our story system handled calendars with inconsistent PPV dates. Our previous system wasn’t ready to properly handle WWE’s brand split and the multiple PPVs per month. For us, this meant overhauling our system for the most flexibility possible. This is more of a back end, behind the scenes change that we worked on, but the result is that rivalries and storylines will now work regardless of when they start and when the next PPV is happening.
Yet, they STILL can't give us a REAL calendar. It shouldn't be that hard to get a real calendar instead of this every month has 4 weeks crap.
Seriously, who cares if some months have more RAW or SD shows, they all even out in the end. They are shorting us 4 weeks in a calendar year with this format.

Some interesting stuff. I like the intensity meter for rivalries. I also think the goals is a pretty good idea. I wonder if we can only have a PPV on Sunday again. NXT Takeover's are usually Saturday hopefully they've implemented that.
Well as always we'll have to wait and see how the new changes play. I like the addition of the intensity meter for rivalries, it should really make the hot fueds stand out. The thing I wish they would have talked more about was the squash matches though. They just......glanced over it at the end.
The article wasn’t quite clear. So do the people that are involved in a rivalry still wrestle each other every week?

I would like to hope not. Its been an issue since 2K14 first introduced the rivalry creator. Universe has a lot of legacy issues that has hindered it since it launched and this will be the 8th game its been apart of. The mode has a lot of untapped potential but they can never seem to get it right.
Honestly I just want the AI to do a better job creating rivalries and such. I know the majority of users here are really into the booking aspect of the mode but I can't get into that since I find it hard to invest the time and patience into it. Hopefully there is some improvement on that end this year with the new additions.

Well as long as there is close to no variance in ratings/attributes from the Top of the Card to the Mid Carders, I find it hard to imagine squash matches playing out

Well you're not wrong I'll say that much my friend. And it really blows my mind that they are still charging us an extra five bucks to edit ratings but.....every year I do so maybe I'm part of the problem.
