Moving to ps4 finally. Please help

The Star Wars battlefront2 bundle is getting me and my kids to finally move on from our ps3 to a ps4. The show16 is the only game we have been playing recently. My 11year old has a lot of time invested in a RTTS. And we have a DD team of all gold and one 99 diamond player.

I’ve read these can be carried to the next generation? Is this true? If so do simply need to buy a copy of mlb the show 17 and keep building til the 18 version comes out?

You can carry over Franchise and RTTS not Diamond Dynasty. Once you are playing 17 it will give you an option of continuing from 16 or starting fresh.

Ok, thanks. Can we go straight from mlb 16 on PS3 to mlb18 on ps4?

I seem to remember that to go from a PS3 to PS4 with carry over saves, you have to upload your MLB 16 PS3 save to a PSN cloud save, then start MLB 17 and choose to carry over from a cloud save. Then doing carry over from 17 to 18 is just as easy as doing a regular carry over.

You have to have the 4 version of 16 as well. Upload your PS3 save to the cloud, load it from the PS4 version & save. Then you just have to have the save file on your system.
