We need Shot & Drive Tendencies Sliders in NBA Live

The addition of Roster editing has been a Huge addition, but we need Shooting and Driving sliders. As NBA Live uses Synergy for Player tendencies, I doubt we will get the ability to edit those. Below I am going to list 7 Tendency Sliders I think would be game changers.


Drive the Lane
Inside shot
Mid range shot
Three Point shot
Pass to Open Man
Spot up
Post up

These would help so much! Id also like to see tendencies for these options:

Off the dribble mid range

Off the dribble threes

Contested midrange

Contested threes

Floater

This would separate star players who are encouraged to take these shots in real life. In game it seems that even good players don’t take tough shots, only open jumpers. If they’re covered they all just drive to the rim, rarely pulling up for a mid- range even though guys like Chris Paul, Westbrook, Bradley Beal, Melo, Derozan, Devin Booker, KD, Kris Middleton etc do that all the time.


I’d also like to see team tendencies for play types. A team like Houston in real life uses the pick and roll all the time with harden and Paul, but when I play them they run a lot of postups. Okc runs a lot of ISO’s in real life but don’t as much in game.

I agree with all of this. Which is why I question Synergy's role in NBA Live. If they use data only for the Tendencies, then why do we see no separation when it comes to Player and Team Play styles?
