any good tips to beat when the user immediately traps your ball handler at the top of the key?

    Great question! Lol

    I avoid traps like hell.

But when I do. I try not to rush. That's when most of my turnovers happen.

Avoid traps as much as possible lol a lot of people get killed if they don't watch for these.

Theoretically, if you're getting trapped, there's a man open. Pass the ball asap, prior to the trap hindering you.

I've tried various dribble moves trying to get out of a trap, not one is consistently effective, I only counter this with quick, smart passes.

Too many turnovers because of this its unrealistic
You can force turnovers by running around defending
With the double team button even 6 to 10 feet away from the ball handler this double team button is effective.
Defense in 2k broken ...its just so bad ..no need to even explain since the hardcore gamers know defense is broken.

Press the fake pass button until your open teammates get into position.

Why do people come in threads like this anymore? This isn't Twitter.

Post like this throw the whole topic off!.... We need to start throwing warnings around here.

First off last night I faced my first ever half court trap cheeser. I don't think I recorded it. But I've noticed if you back up. You give yourself a little more time. But like Hustlewestbrook said. Fake pass until a player comes open. The person will stop.

The best thing you can do is slow down, find the nearest open teammate and use icon passing. You will find success in most instances if you stay poised and if you can spare it just call timeout to reset things.

Sorry... But I'm tried of seeing negative post when someone is asking a legit question. Not your opinion on what good or not. We are trying to figure out how to beat traps.
