any good tips to beat when the user immediately traps your ball handler at the top of the key?Tags: None -
Re: Beat Trap Tips?
I avoid traps like hell.
But when I do. I try not to rush. That's when most of my turnovers happen.

Theoretically, if you're getting trapped, there's a man open. Pass the ball asap, prior to the trap hindering you.
I've tried various dribble moves trying to get out of a trap, not one is consistently effective, I only counter this with quick, smart passes.Comment

Re: Beat Trap Tips?
Too many turnovers because of this its unrealistic
You can force turnovers by running around defending
With the double team button even 6 to 10 feet away from the ball handler this double team button is effective.
Defense in 2k broken ...its just so bad ..no need to even explain since the hardcore gamers know defense is broken.Psn : MORO79Comment

Post like this throw the whole topic off!.... We need to start throwing warnings around here.
First off last night I faced my first ever half court trap cheeser. I don't think I recorded it. But I've noticed if you back up. You give yourself a little more time. But like Hustlewestbrook said. Fake pass until a player comes open. The person will stop.
