This is a fun game. Picked it up today and I have a played a few games. I love the game play and wish that NFL Blitz would make a come back. I absolutely love the names that mimic the players in the NFL. There is a lot of swearing in this game and it is funny as well.

I never played the original, so I can't say if it plays the same.

Loved the original and proud backer of this one on Kickstarter. Can't wait!

The game is very similar to the original. It is a bit more "mature" than the original as we didn't have any cursing in it so be warned if you're thinking about this one for your kids. I have not explored if that can be turned off yet either.

But you played the original and are looking for a link to your past fun playing it, this is the game for you. Bribe the ref and Kill the ref are back. Players "die" in the game. Fields have holes, fire pits, mines, all the fun things I remember from the original.

This game is fun and a true spiritual successor to the Mutant League Football. I am pleased with the two games I've played so far and pretty excited knowing they are going to be adding even more to this game. I'm glad I made the investment.
