More people are following Last gen 2k than current gen 2k

I noticed that more people are viewing PS3/360 2k than current gen 2k. I think that's amazing depsite the PS4/one era being 5 years old. I like it better because of the gameplay and the lighting and courts look better as well. What do you like better current gen or last gen 2k?

Facescans, Post up game, Contextual passing, Cut and Replace on pick and rolls, defensive vision cone for defenders (it stops the psychic steals by CPU or CPU teammates), fastbreak and spacing logic.

Yeah, I don't miss last gen at all.

Re: More people are following Last gen 2k than current gen 2k

I miss the defensive post options in
Aggressive Push Back, Pull the Chair(gives variations in post decisions and outcomes).

I miss the manual defensive shading previously dubbed "Shade Stance Change"(gives nuance on on-ball Defensive decisions and user expectations on blow-by animations increasing the skill gap)

I miss the hard foul and wrap foul button mappings(imagine how Brusier would work with this and then the nuance in player's choices in committing fouls with a non-Bruiser player and a Bruiser player due to skill knowing when to use the button, this increases the skill gap).

I miss the create space(booty bumps) and lean back post animations/button mappings(see above except for Post players taking turbo from players due to increased contact animations)

I miss the D-Pad only substitution menus in 2K11. Pressing the face buttons for substitutions or using the Right Analog Stick to make Subs is unwieldy imo. Let the user switch through the players with the D-Pad Left and Right buttons and put the preset Lineups on the Left/Right Buttons or L1 and R1 buttons respectively.

2k11 is a classic, and despite what people say about 12, i have fond memories. however the game has come so far in so many aspects, it's hard to turn back now besides for the sake of a nostalgia trip.

Yeah agree..... I get it. we had great memories. But that's what they were. One of the biggest things people don't realize. Is we didn't have my player back then. If 4 human controlled the other players in that game. People would change their mind quick lol.

Does anyone remember the first try at my player? Hint: It wasn't called My player lol

Oh your laughing at me. Go look at the 95-96 Chicago Bulls arena in NBA 2k18 and then look at their last gen arena in NBA 2k13. Realistic lighting compared to being in a cave. A lot of the arenas in NBA 2k18 the lighting is so dark and unrealistic, that it drives me nuts. Last gen most arenas are realistic to the lighting in real life arenas and I feel is more lively than being a dark cave.

Re: More people are following Last gen 2k than current gen 2k

ya worried about arena lighting and jersey fonts being too small/big but I'm worried about the subpar gameplay. Somehow, it has gotten worse every year. This year I already stopped playing because its not even fun. Even last year I was playing in September all the way up to release of 18.
