What Pitching Options do you use and why?

Trying to get handle on what pitching option to use. I go between Classic and Meter but never seem to settle on one. What do you guys use?

I pitch exclusively with meter.

I don’t like analog pitching and don’t like the “randomness” of classic

I use meter. Tried pulse for awhile when it was introduced, but I think meter is better suited for me.

Pulse just seemed a bit too random for me. I felt like I would time it up fine and the pitch would be nowhere near the target. I have not tried analog a ton, but I feel like its a bit to much work (I like to play many games a day, dont want to tire them out).

Meter works best for me in delivering realistic results. I pitch on legend and have my fair share of good and bad outings.

Re: What Pitching Options do you use and why?

I'm the guy that uses pulse.

It's easy enough but also easy enough to slightly slip up and make some off pitches. Everything else I kinda feel too good with, like I can control it too well and I don't end up with enough bad pitches.

But I also haven't used meter in years and will probably play some practice games with it this year to see if I change my mind.

Pulse for me. Simple but also a bit challenging.

What's the one I always see the online people using on twitch or youtube? Its got home plate on the top and a meter on the bottom. Seems so complicated.

Re: What Pitching Options do you use and why?

Meter HOF/Legend. I've been messing with Legend a lot lately and I really want to give it more of a try in '18 because it doesn't allow me to be as pinpoint as I can be with HOF. It forces me to throw off the plate and risk walking guys, because if I don't the CPU will tear me apart with its large PCI's (don't call it cheating, the CPU is supposed to have the constant ratings advantage on that level and I'm supposed to make up for it with my user skill). I can strike the CPU out even on Legend with good pitchers, which is enough to tell me that it's worth exploring.

I use Meter online too, which makes me sort of an odd duck as I know a lot of people use analog. But I rarely end up blaming the meter's mechanics for my bad pitches - if I get hit it's often because I either missed my spot on the meter or made a bad decision on where to aim in the first place.

Used pulse for years but switched over to analog this year and love it. It rewards good execution and gives you realistically wild misses when you screw up or are just cold in general. The variety of results with pulse was much more limited for me by comparison. I also just love the pace of pitching with analog.

Meter dynamic hitting/pitching. May try analog pitching just for a change this year.
