does anybody mind telling me what a sim league is? (honest)

In my mind, 'sim' means trying to simulate the real life manifestation of the sport.

On 2k you'll see alot of folks trying to exploit some design flaws in the game (turbo sprint off every make to get to the rim, swipe for steals like a madman etc) which can lead to gameplay unlike anything youd expect to see in the NBA.

Sim gameplay is going to prioritize users making use of basketball concepts that we see play out in rl---- as opposed to exploiting the video game.
(If that makes sense)
