Remove auto running please

When I rock an opponent, my character starts running towards him, even if we are a foot away. Meaning, I cant throw combos, so it sucks.
I think the solution is:
1. Making it manual ALL THE TIME.
2. Allow players to disable it on the menu.

I don't have this problem on PS4 tbh. And I don't think it is automatic. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I will never understand why some fighters try to block head kicks like that. Is this stuff being taught in gyms or something?

Yeah I play on ps4 and is auto. Not always, but if I try to land a combo, for example: jab body kick, my fighter throws the running jab, does the running animation and throws the naked body kick, allowing my opponent to trap it easily or blast me with 3 punches before the kick lands.
