Hey folks, I thought we could use a thread as a catch-all for any rumors about castings or upcoming movies.

Here's a few:

Jared Leto's Joker might be getting his own movie, not to be confused with the Joker origin movie.

Val Kilmer is apparently reprising his role in Top Gun 2 (don't know how, he had throat cancer and can barely talk)

Donald Glover, Ezra Miller, and Ryan Gosling are the top 3 targets for a new Willy Wonka.

Spawn remake starring Jamie Foxx, which won't be an origin movie.

Donald Glover should be Willy Wonka, the other two don't fit the profile IMO.

The Spawn news is disappointing because you can't make a Spawn movie on a $10-11m budget. That should be the down payment for the FX.

Why do we need another Willy Wonka movie. Wilder's is a classic. Depp's rendition was pretty good (and fairly recent). Donald Glover? No. Gosling? No. Oh Hollywood is right.

I've heard about this project. My one concern that since it's Tarantino it might have the unintended consequence of glorifying Manson. Not in the way he makes it but you know how Tarantino's fans can be sometimes....

It's went from a Manson movie to a movie set in the same time period with Manson events as the background. Incredible cast lined up for it, too, always with QT movies.
