Can't dunk with my rebounding athletic finisher in traffic

I can only get up wide open dunks but I can't even dunk on guards. I just do weak layups and usually miss even though rating is in the 90s.

Do I need the posterizer badge?

Walk on is best and fastest grind for athletic finisher.

In myLeague, sim to the end of the year, then switch teams (so Shammy isn't on your team). That helps a ton with cutscenes.

Then, in games position yourself past the 3 point line elbow. Call for an inside pick, then deny the pick and go baseline. That will typically result in a contact dunk on either your defender who is riding your hip, or late help.

Been playing walkon and have the same issue, can barely get contact dunks.

I have a 6’3 guard Shot-creating Slasher with gold posterizer. The thing about posterizer is this: guards can get them easier because of higher speed, acceleration, vertical, and speed with ball.

I also have a 7’0 rebounding athletic With gold posterizer and because of reduced ratings in mentioned categories he doesn’t catch bodies as easily, but underneath the rim his finishing is very good. Standing contact dunks will be your specialty with this build, not running. Assuming your build can achieve HOF posterizer like mine, you should have no difficulty with any contact dunks running or standing. Also, the animations you have equipped play a large role in the dunks you perform, for this reason be sure to purchase contact dunk animations ALONG with getting your badge level higher. Hope this provides clarification.

Well the sucky part is there is only one big man contact dunk animation package available lol.

I get great inside position most of the time and my guy still puts up layups.

Does using the right stick to shoot as opposed to square make a difference?
