I’m happy with the additions to the halftime show.

Re: Madden 19: Deep Dive Presentation Blog

Nothing groundbreaking, but overall a good step forward. They laid the foundation to build on a lot of aspects of presentation. Now we have to hope that EA breaks from past habits and actually does build on these features in future games.

Obviously the half time show being the way it is now sets up the real possibility for a weekly recap show. It's nailing down what most of us want from that type of deal. I really don't see an excuse as to why that shouldn't be built next year from what they have shown now.

The call back feature for the commentary is one I think can really be beneficial. If it can call back on past games and seasons then it is truly something that can be built on greatly. If they can get the system to where it can save key plays/drives at some point and reference those we'd all be ecstatic. I'd be happy if it even just showed the score of the last time I played the Cowboys that year and talked about the way the game went and what may change this time around. It would also be neat if they could build off of it and maybe reference that the team I am playing is the team that eliminated me from the playoffs last year or the last 2 years in a row and now there is a bit of a rivalry being built.

Can we get dynamic rivalries, EA? Please! NBA 2k does it

These are some impactful changes. 2 little things I'm excited about.

1. They're building on the pregame sequences they built last year. Glad to see this with any feature.

2. The tech they're using enables live content. This alone makes me optimistic for the future. Keep building on features and slowly but steadily we'll have great presentation.

People are upset about the scorebug, but it is a lot cleaner than what they had in the past. And if it's still working and not changing this allows them to make a more comprehensive presentation package then I'm for it

Yea I feel better about it now that Mills said "it'll look more in appropriate with all these new wipes etc."

I like the halftime show. Now they just need to take the halftime show and just do the same thing an make a post game show showing all the games that have went final or are almost final. I don't need any highlights. I'm also hoping the commentary call backs talk about award winners from the year before and the current defending super bowl winner.

My guess is that the halftime show this year is kind of a test run for if they want to turn this into a weekly wrap up or post game show depending on feedback
