After watching the College World Series, Go Hogs, it has really made me want to play a college baseball game. Really wish they would use MLB The Show as a base and create a college baseball game, or a patch/add on for the current MLB game that had college teams or something. Anyone heard any rumblings of this ever happening from SCEA?

Likely won't happen. EA had their college baseball game for a year or two, but I don't believe there was really a market for it. I can't see SCEA going out of their way to make this when they already seem at full work capacity just making this game.

Given the litigation EA sports went through over "player likenesses" in their NCAA football series, I don't think we will ever see another collegiate video game again. Unless NCAA starts paying their athletes and then they'd be allowed to make royalties off their likenesses in a video, I just don't see it happening. If a major conglomerate such as EA won't do it, then I don't think a smaller company like SDS would risk it. I used to love the MVP baseball NCAA games, they were awesome. No better sound in a sports video game than hitting a ball in NCAA and hearing that ping of the aluminum bat knowing it's gone.

The dream (of the pipe variety) is for the game to be modded by users. If only...

My dream is for the NCAA to allow players to profit off their likeness and for a return of college basketball, football, and baseball games.

I more or less quit playing sports games for several years when the college games disappeared. Only came back recently (and actually bought The Show after getting into college baseball this spring).

I broke out the old MVP NCAA Baseball series during the college World Series.
