Okay, I know this feature is gonna be garbage based on one thing.

In the video it says "informed by the best tactical minds", and then the first manager it shows is Roy Hodgson. FAIL.

Joking aside. It looks like they just straight up ripped this from PES.

To be fair, it happens all the time on both sides; Manual throw-ins and attacking runs from PES, auto-subs from FIFA, the list goes on.

One of the main benefits to having two footy titles on the market, if you ask me.

Oh of course. But they didn't even attempt to change how it looked. It appears to be a straight rip with no attempt to hide the fact. They didn't just copy the idea. They made it look exactly the same.

And honestly PES needs to do more of this themselves. They are really lagging behind in Master League. And this year appears to be another year of just a new coat of paint on the old beater. But I don't really think Konami cares enough to try and compete on that front anymore by improving teh single player experience for career. They are going pretty heaving into this card game garbage now that FUT is so big. Which is a real shame. MyClub horrible.

No points for originality, but good to see. And yes, the real questions are: 1) will the CPU change it's strategy based on game situation? and 2) will user NPC players respond to the tactics?

If it's like PES 2018, they are severely overselling how much you can do and (more importantly) the effect it will have. The game is going to do what it wants under the hood, and it's designed to be played with 6 minute halves.

I'm sure after the first month or so it'll feel like every year of FIFA, with matches feeling the same over and over.
