assuming they both played the game for the same amount of time, a few days, its interesting how the first reviewer is keeping their expectations grounded while the 2nd reviewer is already declaring it the best Madden in years.

It is easily the best madden game in years.

I wrote about it yesterday. There is a ton of space between best and worst. I think declaring anything in absolute actually loses some of the value that people thinks it adds by saying it.

I think a lot of people’s perceptions in these cases show more about if people tend to be pessimists or optimists more than anything.

I agree and in reference to the above posts I am definitely an optimist so that probably does figure in to my viewpoint.

I am as well, which is why I have become more aware of this relatively recently. Nothing wrong with it just an observation. I definitely lean positive this year for sure in a small sample size.

I do think 19 is better in a lot of ways but I’m shocked the CPU run game wasn’t brought up. Penalties or lack there of, have regressed and the cpu AI reference to picking plays being fixed isnt accurate. It’s better but 4 verts is still the go to. The silly amount of play action passes the cpu picks on third and long has resulted in far too many sacks during my play time as well.
