Does anyone know why NBA Live has not had the option of position or player lock in their game since moving up to current gen? I know they have it for "The One" game mode but that's it. I would love to know if they finally implemented it in to this years game. Using the Lakers I would just want to control LeBron and let the offense run on its own or allow me to run the show. I just never liked controlling all five guys on the floor. Maybe it's not as popular. Idk. I wish this option could make a return.

Yeah I was thinking about this. Feels like if they focused on the one and WNBA and rpm this year they should have really added a lot of basic little things to franchise and core gameplay at the very least.

Game is headed in the right direction tho. I don’t think I can give a full $60 this year (spent a lot on college stuff this past month) but I want to keep supporting the franchise.

I believe there is a way to switch to somebody off the ball while on offense, and you can get it passed to you if you press X (PS4)

I could be wrong but it believe you have to quickly double tap the right bumper until icons pop up and then you select who you want to control

I would love to know what the process is officially because this would be fun to do to set up a shooter

I like the game to be honest but I can't play using all five guys on the court. Haven't played that way since player lock was introduced years ago. It's odd to me that it's not in the game. A real deal breaker sucks to say. I wish they would patch this in.
